About the Author

Murtadha Aalim Onifade (Abu Sumayyah)

Founder, Al-Khairy Foundation

Murtadha Aalim Onifade, known as Abu Sumayyah, is a passionate advocate for Muslim youth development with over 15 years of experience in education, mentorship, and community building.

His journey began with teaching Islamic studies to teenagers in local mosques, where he noticed a critical gap: young Muslims excelling in either religious studies or secular education, but rarely both. This observation sparked a mission to develop holistic approaches to Muslim youth development.

Before founding Al-Khairy Foundation, Abu Sumayyah worked as an educational consultant, helping schools integrate Islamic values with modern pedagogy. He has conducted youth development workshops across Nigeria and consulted for Islamic schools seeking to improve both academic and Islamic education outcomes.
